Plazmatic Maxi Pads

Testing in the field as well as Big Murdoch has yielded results. First, the responce from the riders testing has been awesome.... thanks guys for some objective testing! The Plazmatic Maxi Pads scored a big thumbs up from the riders. I actually there is an asterik (*!) that is important to note.

As mentioned in one of the above segments regarding rim brakes, there is no best pads for dry AND wet conditions. Efforts to find the best for both worlds are (at least at this point) bearing little or no fruit. After much testing (and realizing that even F1 designers use different pads for wet and dry) it was decided to first concentrate on a dry condition pad. Why? Most people ride most of the time in dry conditions. There are people who live in certain places (like Pacific Northwest of USA or certain parts on UK for example) that may want to think hard before switching to Plazmatic Maxi Pads as they have more wet conditions than most other places.

Bottom line:
Do you want outstanding braking most of the time, or mediocre braking all of the time? Remember, its only 3 minites to change pads if you are going to a competition that is sporting water sections or rain.

Rotors

Made of the highest grade aircraft aluminum, these rotors are created in Australia. Available in 160 and 180mm rotor sizes. Also wavy style or round. CRM pad material (of different durometer) ensures the most powerful disc braking on the planet! The rotors MUST use Plazmatic disc pads. Standard issue disc pads will ruin any aluminum rotor
